Susan E. Sons – Managing Director

Susan Sons is Stoic Cybersecurity’s co-founder and managing director. Susan brings over 20 years of experience as a software engineer/architect, security analyst, and CISO. Her specialties include software security, industrial controls (ICS/SCADA) security, SOC operations, incident response, program/policy development, compliance, and training/coaching CISOs. In addition to steering the proverbial ship, Susan directs Stoic’s SOC ops and plays an active role in our training/coaching programs. In her free time, Susan enjoys hiking and kayaking, fountain pens, and RPGs.

Andrew D. Kirch – Technical Director

Andrew Kirch, CISSP, is a co-founder of Stoic Cybersecurity. As Stoic’s Director of Technology, Andrew is architect and keeper of our technical infrastructure, and a key player in our vCISO program. Andrew brings over two decades of experience in cybersecurity, putting notorious cyber criminals in prison, penetration testing, and building winning cybersecurity teams. In his free time, Andrew keeps honeybees, and has a watch obsession that may keep him employed until the end of time. He recently received his Christopher Ward Bel Canto Classic Oro, and has a Trafford Watch Co. Crossroads Season 3 Lantana on order.
